Autodesk 3ds max hotfix upgrade#
I looked for the file you mentioned above but do not seem to have one and im having this issue again. This Hotfix will upgrade your version of Bing Maps to version 8 so that you can continue to use the Geolocation Online Map Data feature. In the meantime I'll fix it in the script to not write this file anymore as it's generally wrong too.ĪlexanderHi Alex, I found my thread again in hopes I wrote down what I did last time to fix it but i did not and Im having the same issue. Please take care to not re-install V-Ray when the ENU directory is deleted as this will produce the "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 20*\en-US\UI\MaxStartUI.mnux" file again. It is: Render Engine Compatibility: Autodesk 3ds Max 2014 (.max) with V-Ray 3.60.03. This posed model has been captured in our photogrammetry scanner. This may not fix the repeated items, but first check if they are still present and then if they are try removing the the ENU directory and the MaxStartUI.mnux again. Check out our latest photorealistic 3D people. So if you have a this file "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 20*\en-US\UI\MaxStartUI.mnux" try to move it somewhere else, but I believe it won't be needed. So writing it there will make the registered menus re-appear even with the ENU directory deleted. The script relies on a MXS function menuMan.getMenuFile() which in these rare cases returns the path to the file but in the Program Files directory.

shiny new installation or the ENU folder is being deleted and the menu registration is performed (new V-Ray installation or through the toolbar button). Hi, I've found a problem with the script that installs the quad menu (and other menus too) items.
